Easy to get started

I just needed something to send out quick browser alerts for new blog posts. This totally did the trick. Signed up for the free plan, got it set up on my site pretty fast, like in 15 minutes. It just kinda works, which is nice. No headaches.

Comprehensive push solution

We needed a robust solution for Personalized Push Notifications and settled on PushEngage after comparing a few options. The initial setup with our WordPress site was straightforward using their plugin; took about an hour to get the basic integration done. We also integrated the Push Notification API for some custom triggers, and that worked surprisingly well with good documentation. Support was responsive when I had a question about dynamic segmentation, getting back to me within a few hours. The A/B Testing for Push has been really helpful for optimizing our messages. Delivery has been consistent across different browsers, and the Multi-Site Management feature is a lifesaver for our various brand sites. It's a bit more expensive than some free options, but the features justify the cost for us.

Decent, some small issues

I tried their Automated Drip Campaigns for my online store. The setup was mostly smooth, and the notifications went out as planned, which was good. The analytics feature was a bit basic for what I needed, could use more depth. Overall, it's a solid tool, but there's room for improvement on the reporting side.

Reliable as always

I've been using PushEngage for a couple of years now, mostly for Cart Abandonment Notifications. This latest renewal was as seamless as previous ones. The platform's consistency is why I stick with them. They've added some new features like Dynamic Segmentation since I first joined, which has been useful. My re-engagement rates have remained steady, proving the system is reliable. Good to see they keep improving without breaking what already works.

Good value for small business

As a first-time buyer, I was looking for a cost-effective way to get into push notifications. The free plan for 200 subscribers was a great start. I later upgraded to annual billing when my list grew and saved 20% compared to monthly, which was a good deal. Setting up the Welcome Drip Sequences was simple enough. It felt worth the money to get these features without breaking the bank for my small business.

Hey, wondering about pricing. Is that free plan actually usable for a small site, or do you hit the subscriber limit instantly?

C Chris Jones 1 week ago
The free plan lets you have up to 200 subscribers. If your site is super new, that might be enough to start with.

200 subs isn't a lot if you're growing, but it's good for testing it out and getting familiar with the platform before committing to a paid plan. I used it for a bit.

Thinking about switching from OneSignal. Is PushEngage actually better or is it just marketing hype? Want to make sure it's worth the hassle.

M Megan Parker 1 month ago
I switched a few months ago, and yeah, it feels more robust for segmentation. Plus, their analytics are way easier to digest.

Honestly, depends on what you need. If you're doing complex campaigns or need better A/B testing, it probably is. For basic stuff, they're kinda similar.
